Leather chemical maker TFL Group has announced that Dr Volker Rabe will succeed Dr Dietrich Tegtmeyer in his role at the company. By ILM.

Dr Tegtmeyer retired on October 1, 2024, and Dr Rabe will take over the role of Head of New Business Development/Industry Relations.

The position includes supporting the leather industry through active participation in various interest groups such as LWG, IULTCS, VGCT and TEGEWA, etc.

Dr Rabe comes from a family tannery and has worked with TFL and its predecessor companies in various roles since 2012, before which he worked at FILK for two years.

He already represents TFL Group in various leather industry committees and, this year, became Chairman of the IUR Research Commission of the IULTCS.
