Auto maker Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares suddenly announced his resignation on December 1, following disagreements at the top of the company. By ILM.

Senior Independent Director Henri de Castries said that the company would be looking for a new CEO in the first half of 2025.

He noted that there were disagreements between Tavares, the board and the major shareholders in recent weeks, leading to his resignation.

Tavares was originally planning to leave the company at the end of his current term in early 2026, following profit warnings and poor financial results.
