This year’s HOT-SHOP, ECCO Leather B.V.’s annual four-day workshop engineered to challenge conventional leather creation, was themed around cooking. 180 participants – designers, futurists, artists, material specifiers, marketers and leather technicians from around the world – got to cook with Greek celebrity chef Akis in a creative icebreaker before they were challenged to cook up their own three-course ‘meal’ in the form of exclusive, fun, and innovative leathers.
