Taking place on Saturday 26th April, the countdown for World Leather Day has begun and there are so many ways to get involved!

Launched in 2022 and spearheaded by Leather Naturally, World Leather Day is a global movement dedicated to celebrating leather, promoting a deeper understanding of its provenance, environmental benefits and unique beauty.

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Beyond The Surface”. Our mission is to encourage greater consumer appreciation and appetite for everything leather has to offer. We will spotlight leather’s longevity, repair, recycling and waste reduction worldwide – not only as a long-lasting material and by-product of the meat industry, but also as a material that deserves to be understood beyond its appearance. By going beyond the surface, we invite consumers to explore the technical, sustainable, and circular qualities that make leather a responsible and valuable choice. Throughout the month of April, designers, social influencers, leather repair experts and makers will share their love for leather, elevating our campaign visibility and consumer understanding.
