Leather Naturally writes on LinkedIn: It’s a New Year and we’re kicking off our series of ‘Meet The Leather Makers’.

Michelle Wong is a UK based Architect and Leather Maker who offers personalised, handcrafted leather goods for the everyday.

From beautiful accessories, stationery and homeware, her style is influenced by her background in architecture. Simple geometrics, clean lines and functionality.

Working from Cockpit Studios in London, Michelle works exclusively with oak and vegetable tanned leathers from a selection of British and Italian tanneries. She crafts her products using traditional saddlery techniques including stitching and hand burnishing.

“These leathers respond to the conditions of its use, forming a rich patina and character over time which makes it unique to its owner. The result is a collection of simple, yet functional items that are made to last”.
