The starting point for creating a fashion collection is the Inspiramais exhibition, which will take place on January 23rd and 24th, in Porto Alegre (RS, Brazil), at the Fiergs Events Centre. The event will have 18 leather suppliers – from bovine hides to a wide range of exotic leather –, enabling designers, buyers and brand managers to make a very precise selection of business partners. Other materials that make up the fashion chain will also be exhibited at Inspiramais, concentrating the entire universe for the development of a collection in the same space. Inspiramais is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), the Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries (Abimóvel) and the Brazilian Trade and and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Sectoral projects conducted by ApexBrasil with the entities: Brazilian Leather, Tex Brasil, Brazilian Furniture and Brazilian Materials.

The development of materials for this edition of Inspiramais followed the theme Intergenerational – season 2025_I. It is a creative approach that focuses on the nuances and perspectives of connections between generations. The central idea is to encourage the development of genuine products that respect and represent different consumers, embracing the knowledge and experiences that each person brings.

In total, there will be more than 150 exhibitors from different Brazilian regions at Inspiramais, offering 1,200 new material launches. In addition to the commercial exhibition, the event will feature trend spaces (such as the Preview do Couro / Leather Preview exhibition) and an intense program of lectures, linked especially to the themes of sustainability, efficiency and innovation.
