Leather Working Group, together with Textile Exchange have launched the Deforestation-Free Call to Action for Leather, a collaborative initiative which aims to galvanize action from brands to end deforestation and conversion of natural ecosystems linked to leather sourcing. 

 By signing up, brands commit to:  

– Setting leather sourcing requirements 

– Setting and meeting supply chain targets 

– Respecting human rights across the entire leather supply chain

– Implementing traceability 

– Making investments 

– Rporting on progress along the way
