Manufacturing Engineer, Robert Mclatchie, who is a team member of the Scottish Leather Group (SLG) has graduated with an Honours Degree in Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management from the University of Strathclyde.

Robert, who joined the company as an apprentice in 2016, won Scotland’s Young Apprentice of the Year in 2018.

In order to gain his Honours Degree, Robert dedicated himself to studying a working at the same time at SLG for four years, which makes his academic success even more noteworthy.
