At The World in Leather (TWIL) we look for sustainable processes and we can get that through certifications on the leather we use.

One of the certifications we look for in our leather suppliers is from Leather Working Group: LWG.

LWG follows a protocol with 17 chapters.

Some of the following areas are being audited to follow certain standards:

social audit, operating permits, production data, incoming material traceability, restricted substances, compliance chromium Management, energy consumption, water usage, waste management, effluent treatment, chemical management and operations Management.
