Christina is the Head of Leather Working Group (LWG), which is an international not-for-profit membership organization that drives collaboration and sustainability improvements in the leather industry.
She joined the LWG in 2020, coming from adidas where she worked for several years, both at the headquarters in Germany and within the Sourcing organization in Asia. Most recently she was responsible for managing the adidas leather portfolio in the Footwear Material Sourcing team in Hong Kong. She holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering, and an M.Sc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
