The winner of APLF’s handbag design competition for students and freelance designers, Design-A-Bag, has been announced, reports Leatherbiz.
Arcobaleno by Valeria Zingaretti
Valeria Zingaretti from Italy was singled out as the winner for her Arcobaleno design (pictured), which she said was inspired by the drawings of rainbows which proliferated throughout her home country during the covid-19 pandemic.
The bag itself is made from recycled Italian patent and natural leather.
Ms Zingaretti described her winning design as simple and essential, like “the most important things in life”.
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
