Leather Working Group’s Director of Sustainability, Christina Trautmann, will be providing an overview of our recently published Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) at the International Leather Maker Leather Supply Chain Symposium on 11 March, 2025.
Taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) a day before the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF), the presentation will include Leather Working Group’s collaborative efforts to revise the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (MSI) for bovine leather with Kim Sena of Leather Naturally.
Titled Redefining Leather: Using Data to Challenge Perceptions and Drive Informed Conversations, this is a must-attend event for anyone looking to find out more about some of the industry’s hottest topics such as traceability, deforestation legislation, AI technology, biobased chemistries and life cycle assessments for leather.
