LWG and LN to present redefined LCA data for bovine leather

ILM reports: Two industry specialists representing LWG and Leather Naturally (LN) will present an overview of Leather Working Group’s recent lifecycle assessment (LCA) of leather project. The presentation is part of the Leather Supply Chain Symposium 2025 taking place on March 11 (afternoon), at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) a day before the APLF Leather Fair.

Christina Trautman of Leather Working Group provides an overview of the LWG LCA and will be joined by Kim Sena of Leather Naturally to discuss the collaboration behind the revision of the Higg MSI for bovine leather. Together, they will outline the key factors that led to this change and its implications for the industry. The presentation is titled: “Redefining Leather: Using Data to Challenge Perceptions and Drive Informed Conversations”.

About APLF

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.

We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
