I am excited to announce the upcoming 2nd Green Deal Leather Workshop, focusing on the Carbon Footprint of Bovine Leather made in Europe, happening already on January 25, 2024, in Frankfurt.
The highlight of the workshop will be the introduction of the ECO₂L tool, tailored specifically for the leather industry. This innovative tool, made by tanners for tanners, is designed to measure and help reduce the carbon footprint of bovine tanning processes.
We want to empower tanners to benchmark their carbon footprint against an EU average, aiding them in their journey towards more sustainable practices.
