We are thrilled to announce the results of the Design-A-Bag Competition 2025, which concluded with a spectacular Final Judging Ceremony on March 12 during APLF 2025 in Hong Kong. The judging panel has crowned Eliane Yahari from Argentina as the overall winner for her innovative creation, The Yvoty Bag. Eliane will attend a 4-week hand and digital design course at Arsutoria School in Milan, valued at EUR 4,500, along with a EUR 1,000 accommodation allowance.
Among the remarkable entries, Eliane’s “The Yvoty Bag,” inspired by her late grandmother’s love for flowers, stood out for its heartfelt craftsmanship and embodiment of artisanal design. Her dedication and perseverance have rightfully earned her the title of overall winner of the Design-a-Bag Competition 2025. As we look ahead to 2026, we anticipate an influx of young designers showcasing their creativity and commitment to sustainability in leather design and thank you to all participants for their submissions, which have enhanced the quality of this edition of Design-A-Bag Competition.
This year’s competition owes much of its success to an esteemed judging panel comprised of highly reputable figures from the fashion and leather industry. Their expertise and insights played a crucial role in elevating the event and ensuring a high standard for all entries. Below is the prestige onsite judging panel:
