A new fair dedicated to finished leather products will run alongside the All-China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai this coming September. By ILM.
Taking place at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) in the Pudong district of Shanghai between September 3-5, 2025, Moda China aims to bring the whole leather value chain under one single event.
Speaking at the ACLE press conference during APLF Hong Kong on March 13, Zhang Yan, Secretary General of the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), told ILM that forward bookings for the new event were on track with most of the companies exhibiting coming from within China.
The new event will cover 23,000 sq m and aims to attract China and overseas manufacturers of footwear, bags, garment and accessories and will be aimed at finished product buyers.
ACLE 2025 will take place in seven halls of SNIEC covering 66,000 sq m of exhibition space. In the 2024 edition, buyer visits increased by 10% and visitors from mainland China increased by 24.9% compared with the previous year.
2025 will mark the 25th edition of ACLE, which is co-organised by CLIA and APLF. In recent years, the fair has been a platform for suppliers to reach the domestic Chinese market and has a large presence of international chemicals, machinery and raw materials suppliers in attendance.
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
