APLF is the springboard for Brazil’s leather exports

Boasting the world’s largest commercial cattle herd, Brazil is one of the major tanning nations participating at APLF Leather 2025 in Hong Kong.

Chinese leather importers are of vital importance for the Brazilian leather sector, as this country and Hong Kong imported almost 34% of Brazil’s leather exports in 2024.

This year APLF will once again be an important cog in the mechanics of the Brazilian Leather Project’s marketing plans, managed by Leticia Luft. This is evidenced by the fact that thirty-two of Brazil’s leading tanners are in Hong Kong, whose leather fair sets the tone for global market trends in the last three quarters of the year.

As was the case at APLF 2024, the Brazilian pavilion was buzzing with activity during Day 1 of APLF Leather 2025.

About APLF

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.

We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
