A new initiative designed to improve the sustainability of leather supply chains has been launched by World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
The Deforestation-Free Leather Fund represents an opportunity for industry leaders to pool resources and unite around a common goal of advancing responsible leather sourcing practices. Initial efforts will focus on Brazil, which is home to the world’s largest rainforest and the leading producer of cattle and leather in South America.
Through collaboration with Brazilian partners, the Fund will implement proven and cost-effective solutions to improve traceability and ranching practices, as well as restore degraded natural areas.
This Fund is focused on building a future that supports healthier landscapes, vibrant communities and more sustainable leather products for consumers.
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
