Portugal - The Spring Summer 2026 collection of the Portuguese Leather Cluster is ready for the season’s international trade fairs

On February 6, at Municipality Museum of Alcanena, APIC – the Portuguese Leather Industry Association – held a session to present the Spring Summer 2026 Collection, consisting of the usual PT Leather InDesign TrendBook, the Leathers Collection and prototypes of finished leather products. By ILM.

The PT Leather InDesign project is a secure asset of the Portuguese Leather Cluster that is promoting high quality finished leathers development in Portugal in an ever-growing capacity of anticipation that allowed the participating companies to present the collection before the upcoming February edition of Lineapelle.

The collection was presented by João Carvalho, who spoke about the various inspirations for the collection, and Gonçalo Santos, who explained the internationalisation project and presented the partnerships developed with footwear accessories and components companies and Portuguese designers to make the prototypes that make up the book’s collection.

The Spring Summer 2026 collection is part of the 15th edition of the project that has been ongoing for the past seven years, with increasingly diverse collections, including new sectors of activity such as clothing and apparel, furniture and interior design and alternative applications. The collection integrated the leather cluster at national and local level (Alcanena) and involved more than 20 designers.
