Leather Goods - Growth for Longchamp in 2024 results

French leather goods brand Longchamp has reported revenue growth of 20% for the 2024 fiscal year. By ILM.

 

The company, which does not provide full revenue results, has said that growth came from all of its commercial regions and distribution channels.


The brand saw revenue grow by 33% in Europe, by 27% in the U.S. and by 93% in Korea. Longchamp also said that it did well in the Middle East, where it has opened four new stores.


In 2024, Longchamp generated 19% of its revenue in France, 35% in the rest of Europe and the Middle East, 13% in the Americas and 34% in the Asia-Pacific region. Online sales were up by 30% for the year, having doubled over two years.


However, the company reported growth of 44% in 2023, when revenue was up by 84% in Mainland China, while it has not provided any results for China in 2024.


The company stated in a press release: “Our growth has enabled us to create 800 new jobs in two years, half of them in France.”
