Board Update: We’re pleased to share that Dr. Kerry Senior, Director of Leather UK, has been appointed to the Leather Naturally Management Board following a vote by our members. This marks a significant addition to the team as Leather Naturally continues its mission to promote responsibly made, certified leather.

Kerry brings a wealth of expertise to the Board, with over a decade of leadership at Leather UK, where he spearheaded impactful PR campaigns to challenge misconceptions and highlight leather’s sustainability. Notably, he collaborated with Leather Naturally and the Institute for Creative Leather Technology on a pioneering survey exploring UK consumer attitudes toward leather. His extensive career also includes nine years at Eurofins | BLC Leather Technology Centre Ltd, addressing environmental and raw material challenges. He also holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Kent.

Dr. Luis A Zugno, Chair of the Leather Naturally Management Board, expressed enthusiasm for Kerry’s appointment, emphasizing the value his expertise will bring to the organization’s initiatives. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Debbie Burton, Director of Communications at the Leather Working Group, for her contributions as a departing Board member.
