Europe drives growth for Piquadro in H1

Italian leather goods group Piquadro has reported its financial results for the first half of the 2024 fiscal year, when revenue was up 2.1% year-on-year to €87.8 million. By ILM.


The Piquadro brand was up 0.8% in the period to €39.83 million, while The Bridge grew 1.5% to €16.85 million and Lancel improved by 4.2% to €31.08 million.


The company’s home market of Italy had a decline of 2% in the six months to €40.9 million, while Europe grew 8.6% worth €44.16 million and the rest of the world was down 23.4% to €2.68 million.


EBIT for the first half of the year was €7.5 million, with growth of 12.2%, and Piquadro ended the period with a consolidated net result of €5 million.


CEO Marco Palmieri said: “Despite the very volatile economic and financial environment, we are confident of being able to support growth by investing in customer centricity, continuous product innovation, rationalisation and requalification of the physical and online wholesale channel, and leveraging on a solid financial and asset position, to achieve positive results aligned with the performance achieved so far.”
