Spain - Quimser achieves ZDHC Level 3

Spanish leather chemical maker Quimser has achieved Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Levels 2 and 3. By ILM.

After achieving ZDHC Level 1 in 2022, the company notes that this is a significant milestone in its commitment to safety and sustainability.

It said: “We foresee a bright future for natural leather, as long as all stakeholders in the supply chain actively collaborate towards the shared goal of sustainable manufacturing.”

ZDHC provides certified companies and their product users with the assurance that these products comply with ZDHC MRSL v3.1 (Level 1) and have been responsibly manufactured to meet the standards of Levels 2 and 3.
