This month we will champion the global and local change-makers helping to drive sustainability in leather fashion. We’re excited to announce that shortly we will be releasing our very first global Leather Repair Directory too.
As a leading advocate for leather repair, for so many reasons, we love Loewe.
Not only have they launched ReCraft, (https://lnkd.in/ekHh3usN) a standalone LOEWE store in Tokyo, specialising in repairing and maintaining LOEWE leather items, but their LOEWE FOUNDATION annual Craft Prize celebrates and rewards modern craftsmanship.
Inspired by LOEWE’s beginnings as a collective craft workshop in 1846, the prize was conceived by Director Jonathan Anderson in 2016.
From leather to metalwork, paper to wood, the winning prize is an incredible 50,000 euros.

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
