Italian leather goods association Assopellettieri has opened a new Tuscan headquarters in Florence. By ILM.
In addition to its Milan office, the new headquarters will allow the association to work closer with the 2,300 leather goods companies in Tuscany.
Located within the Manifattura Tabacchi Firenze complex, which is a historic cigar factory abandoned in 2001 and has been refurbished to include concept stores, ateliers, co-working spaces and fashion hubs.
Assopellettieri President Claudia Sequi said: “We have imagined this headquarters as a home for associates, a place where they can find discussion and new solutions.
“In fact, the idea is to draw up a calendar of events and organise periodic meetings between Tuscan associates. Specialised consultants will be available to help on specific issues, such as sustainability for example, and adjustments to the new regulations.”
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
