Spin360 has been commissioned by the United Nations Agency UNIDO to write harmonized guidelines for Leather Life Cycle Assessment.
The cooperation addresses the urgent need for global action to standardize the requirements and methodologies used to calculate the environmental footprint of leather, on a global scale.
Federico Brugnoli, CEO of Spin360, actively contributed to the decision-making process, recognizing the urgent need for global action to address the environmental impacts of the entire leather supply chain.
Through collaborative efforts, Spin360 and UNIDO are committed to driving progress in the leather industry, fostering environmental sustainability, and promoting global cooperation towards a global cooperation in pursuit of shared objectives.
The project’s results will be presented at the Science Based Fashion Talks by Lineapelle in collaboration with Spin360 in September 2024.
