Best of APLF Awards 2024 – Winners of Fashion Access

The winners of the Best of APLF Awards (BOAA) 2024 were announced during the BOAA cocktail party on the second day of the three-day event. This event marks APLF’s 40th anniversary since its launch in Hong Kong in 1984. It is also the 20th anniversary of the Best of APLF Awards (BOAA) which was first held in 2004.

 

There were a total of 9 winners with 2 Fashion Access exhibits and 7 APLF Leather, and Materials+ exhibits. Read on to find out about the well-deserved award winners in design excellence for finished products.

Tradition & Craft Award

Country: South Africa

Judges’ Decision: They claimed this esteemed recognition for their remarkable utilization of local materials, including wood and leather, in conjunction with traditional craft techniques. Their captivating bag collection exudes an authentic and organic aesthetic, showcasing their dedication to preserving and honouring traditional craftsmanship.

Company: Alice Martha

Country: Korea

Judges’ Decision: Alice Martha secured this coveted title for their expansive and trendy assortment of bags. Through their innovative design approach and utilization of diverse materials, they have created a youthful collection that caters to a wide range of market segments.
