The EU-Brazil Dialogue on Sustainable Food and Agriculture, hosted by Hill & Knowlton for ApexBrasil on November 14, 2023, in Brussels, highlighted a pivotal commitment to sustainability in both EU and Brazilian agriculture. Despite differing methods, one thing is crystal clear: sustainability is becoming a necessity for EU market entry.
Leather emerges as a key player in this sustainable narrative. As a by-product of the meat industry, it champions sustainability — it’s durable, biodegradable, and stores effectively carbon. This vital message from COTANCE resonated throughout the event, and we were proud to see the clear understanding of leather’s role in sustainable development.
