The leathergoods division of Ecco has highlighted bags in its spring-summer 2022 collection that honour Issey Miyake, writes Leatherbiz.
Creative lead, Sofie Spindler, said the pioneering spirit of Issey Miyake, who died on August 5, had inspired some of the bags in the collection.
Ecco made the bags using leather its in-house tanneries produced with its proprietary DriTan technology, designed to be a water-saving alternative to traditional tanning methods.
