The dreariness of pandemic life may have been the catalyst for designers to go florid for Spring-Summer 2022. It’s perhaps an intuitive desire to bring colour and gaiety to the rather drab, cooped-up existence we have been experiencing for a year and a half now. We’re saying, “Enough, it’s time to bring the joy back in our lives again”. It’s like creating our own garden of pleasure.
The florals we’ve seen in the 2022 runways were anything from dainty Liberty prints to big and bold rosette designs. Dresses were covered in flowers from collar to hem, taking the floral motif to a whole new level.
Some of the houses that went the floral route include Victoria Beckham, Erdem, Carolina Herrera, Balenciaga, Plan C, Vetements, Max Mara, Paco Rabanne, Giambattista Valli and Ports 1961 (as seen in Vogue Resort 2022 and Vogue Spring 2022).

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
